Short Beach Days relies on volunteers. We need people to take pictures of events, bring us an advertiser or deliver programs. This is a great opportunity for older kids and well as the young at heart.
A special thanks is extended to those advertisers in the program, whose contributions support this weekend’s activities. Please patronize them whenever you need goods & services.
Short Beach Days is not funded by the Civic Association. All the activities, concession stand and events are organized and run solely by volunteers. Proceeds from this ad book go directly to supporting this weekend’s activities.
You can ensure the tradition continues-Take out a family ad, a birthday wish, a thank you, a funny shout-out. Be Creative!
The Concession Stand is one of the main fundraisers. Stop by for a lobster roll, hotdog or the special of the day, open throughout the weekend. While we are unable to have a concession stand in 2020 due to public health guidelines, we will have an ice cream truck around at various times during the weekend. We look forward to continuing this tradition in 2021.
The House Canvas and the Bucket Collection at the Labor Day Parade is another way to contribute to preserving this unique tradition. Donations are appreciated, by mail or by bucket. Every little bit helps make this weekend a grand success! Advertising in our program is key to remain in the black.
There are small ways you can help. We depend on volunteers.
